About Toto
The group Toto was formed in 1976 by guitarists Jeff Porcaro and David Paich (who were also highly acclaimed studio musicians who worked with Boz Scaggs at the time) and bassist/singer Bobby Kimball. After a break of couple of years, Toto return with the album Fahrenheit in 1986. The album is a departure from the ballads that were featured on previous albums and includes some heavy rock. This album was their first to go platinum in North America.
